4 Stroke Engine
The 4 stroke engine is a better engine than the 2 stroke engine. We say that and many others say that too. The 4 stroke is a lot more fuel efficient. The noise output is lower and on the environmental front, they produce less smoke and odours. In general the 4 stroke engine will have more torque, though there are some examples of the 2 stroke that do supersede their rivals and can match the 4 stroke. But these are few and far between and rarely found on hand tools such as petrol strimmers. The Honda engine does have the Honda reliability factor on it’s side as well as the necessary maintenance tasks that are required for strimmer engines. The Honda 4 stroke is easy to service, provides fewer problems and does run smoothly.
