This Flymo strimmer is an electric version. This model is the most powerful 2 in 1 trimmer that Flymo makes. It is a unit that is quick and easy to work with, whether you be cutting lawns, trimming around walls or taking out weeds. This trimmer can be converted in to an edger by just pressing a button.

When it comes to considering a power tool there are always 3 things you should think about. How easy is the tool to set up, how well does it do the job that it is designed to do and finally how easy is it to maintain and fix. This particular Flymo strimmer meets all those requirements.
When you buy one of these it comes with a rather large instruction manual. We found it confusing when it came to assembling the unit. However instead of using the manual we used the picture on the box and found we put the unit together in no time at all.
On the working front this Flymo strimmer gave us no complaints. It is powerful and the battery life is adequate enough. The only problem we had with the machine was the charging of the battery. In order to charge the battery the machine still has to be attached to it. This means that you need to fix a wall bracket to your wall above the mains socket to hold the machine. And you need a certain amount of space as well.
To some this Flymo strimmer may feel heavy. After 20 minutes of use we began to feel a little strain in the shoulder. Using a shoulder strap will take away this issue.
